Support children and families
Develop psychosocial, financial and material support pathways that respond to assessed family needs with dignity and clear controls.
Little Warriors Cancer Foundation
A clear direction for the support model we are building - with programmes opening only when governance, safeguarding, funding and delivery controls are ready.
Our developing objectives focus on family support, access to care, awareness, paediatric-oncology capacity, survivorship, palliative support and responsible partnerships.
What we are building toward
Develop psychosocial, financial and material support pathways that respond to assessed family needs with dignity and clear controls.
Help reduce practical barriers around diagnosis, treatment and supportive care through partnerships and targeted assistance.
Support training, education and capacity-building initiatives that complement existing clinical and hospital systems.
Build public and professional awareness of childhood cancer and the importance of timely referral to appropriate specialist care.
Develop survivorship, palliative-care and bereavement-support initiatives that recognise the long-term impact of serious childhood illness.
How we intend to work
Little Warriors aims to partner with hospitals, NGOs, government programmes, professional bodies, schools, community groups and responsible private partners. Clinical care remains under qualified healthcare professionals; the Foundation’s role is to strengthen support around that care.
